Visa requirements

In order to enter Russia or Ukraine, foreign citizens need correspondingly Russian or Ukrainian tourist visas. That concerns the passengers of cruise ships coming to St. Petersburg, too.

The visas are issued ONLY by the respective consulates. We do NOT issue visas, however, we provide our customers with visa support letters that are required in order to apply for a visa. If you book your hotels (****-***** hotels) through us, we will issue that letter for you free of charge. Otherwise that letter can be issued at a fee of ˆ30 per person.

For the addresses and working hours of the consulates, their requirements and fees, or to download the applications please visit their websites:

Ukrainian consulate in NY

The consulates require your original passports, that is why we do not advise you to use any agencies or intermediaries. It is more reliable, quicker, and cheaper to send by FEDEX your passports, filled out applications, and all the supporting documents directly to the consulates. Provide the consulate with your FEDEX number or enclose the return envelope so that they could return the passports in the same way.

The consular fee depends on the country of your citizenship. It is charged on the reciprocal basis – the same amount of money is charged from the Russian citizens visiting your country. Please keep in mind – the more time you give to the consulate, the less you will pay for the visa.

When you receive your passports with visas, check them immediately to verify that your name, date of birth, dates of arrival and departure are correct. (Please keep in mind that in Russia and Ukraine the dates are written in the following order: date/month/year, e.g., June 1st, 2003, is written as 01/06/2003).
